What’s the permanent recruitment process?

An Canta recruiter will contact you to discuss your career goals so they can help you find permanent opportunities that match your skills and desired location. Once you decide on an employer, you’ll complete a phone screen with your recruiter, and they’ll collect your resume to submit to the facility. Your Canta recruiter is with you every step of the way, from coordinating interviews with the hiring team to securing your offer.

Once I express interest in a specific employer, how long does the process take?

On average, the permanent recruitment process takes less than 2 weeks. In fact, for some candidates we’ve had a turnaround time of submit to offer within 48 hours! The phone screen with your recruiter takes about 30 minutes. Once you’re submitted to a job, the facility typically reviews your information within 24-48 hours. From there, an interview with the hiring leader will be scheduled within 24-48 hours. Offers are usually presented within 24-48 hours after the hiring leader interview.

What are the contract lengths and/or commitments?

Permanent positions don’t have a contract length. However, if relocation and/or sign-on bonuses are offered, there are potential commitments that will be discussed with you during the phone screen.

How quickly will I be expected to start a new permanent position?

Start dates are flexible. We work around your availability!

Who will my employer be after I accept an offer?

Once a permanent offer is accepted, your employer is the facility (or health system).

Pay & Benefits

What are the hourly rates or compensation?

Hourly rates and compensation are determined by years of experience and education.

Will I be reimbursed for relocation?

If relocation assistance is offered, it’s provided through the facility (or health system). Your Canta recruiter covers these details during the phone screen.

Are sign-on bonuses available?
